Breakaway Cafe is looking for a creative, organized, and social media-savvy Content Creator/Social Media Manager to help grow our online presence through engaging photo and video content.
We're looking for someone local to the Los Angeles/Westside area who understands current social media trends and knows how to create content that feels authentic, engaging, and on-brand. You'll be responsible for capturing content during scheduled on-site shoots, editing it into compelling social media assets, and managing the posting schedule across our social platforms.

Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photo and video content during scheduled on-site content shoots.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories, and lifestyle content.
- Photograph food, beverages, catering, seasonal promotions, and the overall café experience.
- Edit content into polished, ready-to-post social media assets.
- Write engaging captions that reflect the Breakaway Cafe brand.
- Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
- Work with ownership to develop content calendars, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor engagement and provide recommendations to improve reach and performance.
- Stay current with social media trends, viral formats, and platform best practices.
Qualifications
- Must live locally in the Los Angeles / Westside area.
- Experience creating content for businesses, restaurants, cafés, hospitality, or lifestyle brands preferred.
- Strong photography, videography, and editing skills.
- Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar editing software.
- Excellent understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and short-form video content.
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage deadlines independently.
- Passion for food, coffee, hospitality, and local businesses is a plus.
