Circuit Lab (www.circuit-lab.com) has an opening for a short-term summer assistant instructor. This is a contract position for one week of summer programs in Plymouth MA, work dates August 17 to 21. Please submit applications ASAP -- looking to make a hiring decision by the morning of August 16.
Summer work at Circuit Lab runs from 8:40AM to 3:55PM daily in our classrooms where we teach electronics programs for elementary school children. In addition to the dates above, we will have a paid training session before the programs start.
You are our ideal candidate if you have prior experience working with elementary-school age students in an educational or summer camp environment and are enthusiastic about technology. It's a bonus if you have experience experimenting with DIY electronics, computer programming, or robotics.
Job requirements:
- Available to work the week of August 17.
- Prior work experience in a classroom or summer camp environment.
- Able to commute daily to the class site.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass state-mandated background check as a condition of employment.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- teaching / camp counselor: 1 year (Preferred)
- electronics, robotics, or coding: 1 year (Preferred)
