Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation.
- Lead food production area, overseeing daily kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols; foster a collaborative team environment.
- Plan menus that reflect authentic Asian cuisine while accommodating dietary restrictions and customer preferences.
- Oversee catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes in large-scale settings.
- Enforce strict adherence to food handling regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes to ensure a safe dining environment for all guests.
- Coordinate with management on shift scheduling, cost control measures, and inventory management to streamline operations.Experience
- Proven culinary experience specializing in Asian cuisine, while blending in and supporting our fast casual restaurant
- Demonstrated supervising or team management experience within a busy kitchen environment.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, food handling practices, and kitchen management techniques.
- Experience with banquet service, catering events, and large-scale food production is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
