Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks - Take customer orders and accurately input them into the POS system - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns - Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment to prepare beverages according to company standards - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of all food and beverage items - Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer throughout the shift - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and smooth operation of the coffee bar Skills: - Strong math skills for cash handling and calculating orders - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Experience in coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art - Familiarity with food service procedures, including food preparation and presentation - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating recipe proportions - Understanding of retail math for inventory management and sales tracking - Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers and customers Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
