Job Overview
We are a new family owned pizzeria and we are seeking a dedicated counter person to join our team. If you have excellent customer services skills, have the ability to multi-task, enjoy a fast paced environment, and of course love pizza and are looking for a full-time or part-time job with weekend availability, we want to speak with you.
You will be:
- Providing excellent customer service to pizza lovers and ensuring each pizza meets our quality standards;
- Answering the phone and taking and packing orders;
- Processing payments with our point of sale system, Square;
- Monitoring inventory of ingredients and supplies;
- Helping restock front of house items such as napkins, boxes, condiments, etc. and cleaning (wipe downs, lite dishes);
- Assisting with some food preparation (we can teach you and you get to taste some yummy food);
- Part of an enthusiastic team and must be a team player.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience, preferably in a restaurant or fast food establishment;
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations, a plus;
- Excellent time management skills.
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
