The Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately to our guests, enhancing their dining experience. Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and presentation.
- Communicate effectively with servers and other team members to coordinate service needs.
- Handle food items safely, adhering to all food handling guidelines and sanitation standards.
- Provide support during catering events as needed, ensuring all guest needs are met.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, including restaurant or hotel experience.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen operations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
