Position Summary & Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Supports the administration and development of broadband grant programs by managing the full grant lifecycle, including application review, contract administration, fund disbursement, compliance monitoring, and contract closeout. Provides technical assistance to grant recipients to ensure adherence to state and federal requirements. Researches and pursues funding opportunities to support and expand broadband initiatives, while collaborating with stakeholders and participating in meetings, workshops, and outreach activities to promote program success and achieve strategic objectives.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Supports the broadband director in developing the Broadband Grant Program.

Reviews applications, manages contracting, reviews and approves requests for funds disbursement, closes out contracts and fulfills any other duties necessary to administer grant funding.

Monitors grants and ensures completion of contractually mandated reporting requirements.

Researches grant opportunities for the purpose of developing additional funding resources
and securing funding to maintain and enhance the initiative’s services and/or programs. -
Serves to ensure data integrity in the recording of grant information in the department’s Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) system and other databases in the department.

Participates in meetings, workshops and seminars for internal and external customers for the purpose
of conveying and/or gathering information to perform functions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Four years of experience in business, finance or public administration
Education may be substituted for experience in grant compliance and reporting, grant monitoring and or grant management as determined relevant by the agency.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience equivalent to three years of grant management, program management

Five years of grant management experience with state or federal programs
