Retina Specialists of Michigan is proud to be the only privately owned retina practice in West Michigan, dedicated to providing exceptional care and prioritizing our patients' needs. With a team of nine physicians, we specialize in vitreoretinal diseases and offer expertise in various sub-specialties, including pediatric retina, uveitis, and ocular oncology. We are looking for someone who is caring and compassionate, motivated and eager to learn, looking for a patient-centered, team-focused workplace, and wants to help make a difference in others' lives. Many of our patients have very complicated health problems that may not be limited to the eye. These patients come to us for specialized care and vision saving treatment. As the face of Retina Specialists of Michigan, you will be the first and/or last person our patients encounter during their visit. You will play an important role in the well-being of our patients by being a calming and friendly presence as they begin their eye health journey.
Job duties would include answering phones, scheduling appointments, scanning, filing and faxing while providing excellent customer service. Additional duties may include obtaining insurance authorizations and medical records.
Must have a friendly, welcoming demeanor, be a quick learner, and a team player. Detail oriented and organized, be able to work independently while collaborating with coworkers in other locations, and have the ability to work in a fast pace environment while handling multiple tasks. Medical experience and billing knowledge a plus but not required.
