GENERAL DUTIES
-Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing
- Assign appropriate codes using ICD-10 coding systems
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage for billing purposes
-Verify eligibility thru different platform systems
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation and coding
-Gathers and analyses data from current billing platforms .
-Utilizes Excel and other statistical software to analyze and interpret data.
-Prepares Excel and other statistical software data files for distribution and sharing with other departments and teams.
-Develops reports for agency’s performance improvement and management decision-making.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
