Job Summary
The Lounge Supervisor is responsible for delivering an exceptional impression on each guest at the Cultivate Bunker Lounge through customer service and maintenance. Duties include overseeing Lounge staff, reception and check-in, on-site laundry services, as well as the general maintenance of the facility. This role also ensures all equipment, systems, and physical spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort either through direct action or by relaying support needs to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the Lounge check-in kiosk, ensuring smooth guest flow from check-in to check-out.
- Enforce capacity limits in the Cultivate Bunker Lounge and make appropriate changes to guest schedule.
- Resolve guest concerns or complaints and escalate to management when necessary.
- Oversee daily maintenance and cleaning operations for showers, restrooms, changing areas, cold plunge, sauna and relaxation room.
- Oversee and complete all laundry tasks associated with Lounge operation and maintain towel inventory.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all spaces, equipment and facilities.
- Log and relay any mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and coordinate repairs with management when necessary.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and safety audits.
- Supervise and train Lounge staff and delegate maintenance tasks when appropriate.
- Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies during operating hours with support from the Technical Director.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and sanitation requirements in a spa or health club environment.
- Excellent customer service, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environmental conditions (heat, humidity, chemical exposure).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional attitude and demeanor in a hospitality setting.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, kneel, and climb ladders.
- Comfortable working around water, humidity, chemicals, and cleaning tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with luxury or resort-level hospitality service and maintenance standards.
- Sales or upselling experience, particularly surrounding membership and access.
- CPR/First Aid certification
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
