Enterprise Account Executive — AI Training Data | San Francisco Bay Area (Hybrid)

This is a foundational go-to-market hire. You will work directly with the CEO and founding team, own a named universe of the highest-value AI training data buyers in the world, and shape how Alchedata sells for years to come.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle — prospecting, qualification, technical evaluation, negotiation, and close — and exceed quarterly revenue targets
- Build and maintain 4:1 pipeline-to-quota coverage across AI labs, robotics and autonomous vehicle companies, and large technology enterprises
- Sell consultatively to technical buyers: ML engineers, computer vision researchers, applied scientists, and heads of AI/data
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles in the $250K–$1M+ range, including RFP responses, custom statement-of-work scoping, and contract negotiation alongside our legal team
- Represent Alchedata at CVPR, NeurIPS, ICCV, and other industry events; build durable relationships across the AI research community
- Partner with the CEO on strategic account planning, pricing, and go-to-market prioritization
- Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene and forecasting in our CRM, with regular reporting to leadership
- Develop deep fluency in the AI training data market: model development lifecycles, data licensing structures, and customer procurement dynamics
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B enterprise sales experience, with a track record of closing $500K+ deals
- Demonstrated success selling to technical and research audiences (ML engineers, applied scientists, CTOs) in AI, data, MLOps, cloud infrastructure, or developer tools
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value, and to learn new technical domains fast — you'll be running credible discovery conversations with ML leads within your first quarter
- Experience leading multi-stakeholder deal cycles with technical evaluations and legal/procurement negotiation
- Self-directed and comfortable with the ownership and ambiguity of an early-stage, founder-led sales environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level presentations
- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area (hybrid)
NICE TO HAVE
- Degree in a technical field (CS, EE, or related) or equivalent hands-on experience with AI/ML products
- Existing relationships with AI research and data-buying teams at frontier labs, robotics companies, or large tech enterprises
- Experience in the AI training data or data licensing space
- Professional fluency in Mandarin, given our international customer base
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000–$200,000. This role is also eligible for uncapped commission — on-target earnings of $200,000–$280,000+, with significant additional upside for top performers — and equity participation. The base range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires; exact compensation within the range is determined by job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
