Position Summary
The Concrete Crew Lead oversees a team of laborers for project completion within designated specifications to ensure structural concrete placement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provides leadership to the team that is in alignment with company vision, mission, and values

Fosters positive working relationships with city officials, vendors, and trade partners

Delivers quality and value through the daily management and completion of assigned projects

Maintains team accountability for production and quality goals set by the Utility Coach
-
Train and mentor Crew Member promoting skill development and team unity
-
Reads and interpret blueprint drawings
-
Oversees and prepares concrete mixtures and pours into forms or directly onto the ground

Manages the construction and shape forming of concrete mixtures

Install and tie rebar and wire mesh
-
Smooths and levels concrete surfaces using various tools
-
Loads, unloads, and transports concrete materials and equipment

Manages equipment and tools ensuring proper maintenance and availability

Operates hand and power tools, such as shovels, rakes, and saws
-
Ensures safety standards and guidelines are followed on job site

Collaborates with the Utility Coach to provide constructive and timely performance evaluations
Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or GED required
-
Two (2) years of relevant work experience required; four (4) years preferred
-
OSHA training required within six (6) months of hire

Excellent interpersonal and time management skills

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Must be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle
Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Works outdoors in a non-temperature-controlled environment, with high noise levels
-
Prolonged periods of walking and standing required

Frequently required to sit, lift, pull, and push objects weighing up to 100 pounds
-
Frequently required to work in cramped or confined workspaces
