Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Active state licensure for SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse pediatric caseload
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to promote successful student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multi-disciplinary team process
- Engage in professional development and remain up-to-date with current best practices in school-based SLP
