Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their visit
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for food sales and retail transactions
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately while handling cash register operations
- Take customer orders efficiently, upsell menu items or products to enhance sales opportunities
- Assist with food preparation tasks following food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food handling areas and cashier stations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and assist in basic food prep when needed
- Ensure food safety management practices are followed to uphold hygiene standards
- Manage customer inquiries regarding menu items, products, or services with enthusiasm
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure quick service and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
- Strong background in food preparation, food handling, or culinary experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Demonstrated ability in retail sales transactions and cashiering duties
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and operating kitchen equipment is desirable
- Experience working in a restaurant or café environment will help you thrive in this role
