Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The Order Picker is responsible for accurately locating, retrieving, and preparing items for customer orders using pick sheets, scanners, or warehouse management systems. This role is essential in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret order pick tickets, RF scanners, or handheld devices
- Locate items in the warehouse based on storage location and inventory system
- Pick products accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring correct quantities and item codes
- Inspect items for quality, damage, or expiration dates before picking
- Transport picked items to packing or shipping areas
- Assist in restocking shelves and rotating inventory as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized picking area
- Report inventory discrepancies or product shortages to supervisors
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous warehouse or inventory experience is a plus
- Basic math and reading skills
- Familiarity with handheld scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Work Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Weekend, evening, or overtime shifts may be required
Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $17.00 per hour
