Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines, sergers, and embroidery equipment to assemble garment samples efficiently and accurately
- Measure fabric and finished products using various measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy according to specifications
- Cut fabric manually with precision tools, following detailed patterns and measurements for sample creation
- Construct garments by sewing seams, attaching trims, and performing seam construction techniques that meet quality standards in production
- Handle materials carefully during storage, transportation, and assembly to prevent damage or defects
- Maintain safety standards in production areas by following proper procedures and using protective equipment at all times
- Conduct quality inspections on finished samples, verifying adherence to design specifications and fabric materials
Requirements
- Proven experience with garment sewing, including sewing machine operation, serging, and seam construction techniques
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional measurements for accurate sample creation
- Familiarity with fabric materials, upholstery fabrics, and their handling during sewing processes
- Ability to manually cut fabrics accurately following patterns and measurements
- Understanding of safety standards in production environments to maintain a safe workspace
- Experience working with industrial sewing machines, embroidery equipment, and warehouse operations is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity and organizational skills
