Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and organization for incoming guests
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables quickly and accurately, adhering to safety standards
- Assist with food handling and serving duties, supporting servers as needed during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices
- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation or replenishment tasks when required
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures at all times
- Provide exceptional in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly and responding promptly to their needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Familiarity with banquet or large event service is beneficial but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
