Position Overview
The Registered Nurse will play a vital role in supporting our patients through the surgical journey—from pre-operative education, to assisting in clinic, to post-operative recovery. This role is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented nurse who thrives in a patient-focused, team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Pre-Operative Care:
- Provide individualized pre-op education and instructions for surgical patients
- Perform health assessments and prepare patients for procedures
- Coordinate and reinforce surgical clearance and documentation requirements
· Clinic Support:
- Assist with patient flow in the clinic, including consultations and follow-ups
- Support physicians and physician assistants during patient evaluations and procedures
- Administer injections, dressings, and other nursing treatments as directed
· Post-Operative Recovery:
- Monitor and care for patients in immediate post-op and longer-term recovery phases
- Educate patients and families on wound care, medication, and recovery expectations
- Identify and escalate complications or concerns promptly to the surgical team
· Team Collaboration & Safety:
- Work closely with surgeons, physician assistants, and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, infection control, and compliance with Quad A accreditation
Qualifications
· Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or compact state eligibility)
· Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
· Plastic Surgery experience a must
· Strong communication, teaching, and patient-relations skills
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based clinical setting

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00 - $41.00 per hour
