Position Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Assist residents in improving mobility, independence, and daily living skills.
- Accurately document resident progress and treatment interventions.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional resident-centered care.
- Ensure compliance in accordance with current rules regulations and guidelines that govern long term care facility standards.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing outstanding resident care.
- This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
