SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Responsible for fitting and welding of steel parts using a MIG and/or TIG process. Also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· 3+ years of experience with steel
· Current and valid certification a plus
· Experience with CNC press breaks, CNC folding machines and automatic saws highly preferred.
· Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds consistently required.
· Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
· Ability to identify and measure material
· Ability to produce quality products consistently
· Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form
· Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethic
· Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs and uses
· Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures and angle gauges
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. However, on some instances this job may require work in areas
where ear protection is necessary.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, on some instances this job may require work in areas where ear protection is necessary.
POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position.
Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., 40 hours per week.

Approximately 0% travel is expected for this position.
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
