Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Laborer - Installer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist with the installation of building materials such as tile, stucco, gutters, and fixtures according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks including cutting, measuring, and fastening
- Interpret construction plans and specifications to accurately follow blueprint details and dimensions
- Perform construction site inspections to ensure safety compliance and quality standards are maintained throughout projects
- Measure and cut materials precisely using tape measures, ladders, and other equipment to meet project requirements
- Support remodeling projects by installing doors, hanging fixtures, caulking, plastering, and performing other finishing tasks
- Collaborate with team members to manage construction schedules, organize materials, and ensure smooth workflow on-site
Experience
- Prior construction experience with a focus on building material installation or remodeling projects is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Bluebeam software for reviewing construction plans and managing documentation is a plus
- Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical work, or carpentry enhances your versatility on the job site
- Knowledge of construction management principles and estimating processes is beneficial
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely in various construction environments
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members during project execution
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
