We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating tube bending equipment, interpreting engineering drawings, and fabricating precision metal components to customer specifications. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, commitment to quality, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications.
- Measure, mark, and inspect tubing to ensure compliance with dimensional tolerances.
- Perform tube bending operations on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals.
- Verify bend angles, radio, lengths, and part quality using measuring instruments such as calipers, and gauges.
- Perform secondary fabrication processes including cutting, drilling, grinding, deburring, and assembly as required.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues promptly.
- Maintain production records and ensure jobs are completed within established timelines.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S principles.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in metal fabrication, tube bending, or related manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication blueprints.
- Experience using measuring and inspection tools.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes and quality control standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Welding experience (TIG, MIG, or spot welding) is a plus.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
