Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field required

TOGAF or similar Enterprise Architecture certification required

Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred
Relevant Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

10 – 12+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in health payer enterprise or solution architecture required

Proven experience in healthcare payer environment (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid) required

Solid understanding of payer workflows, payer operations, and regulatory requirements required

Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, or similar) required
-
Knowledge of Healthcare interoperability standards required

Experience with executive communication and stakeholder influence required

Experience with modern payer platforms and vendors required
-
Deep understanding of application, data, integration, and infrastructure architectures required
-
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP), integration patterns and AI required

Strong problem-solving skills required

Technically creative and open-minded required

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to operate in cross-functional team environments required

Excellent written, verbal communication, planning and organizational skills required

Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies and business value-add proposition required

Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk) and system health reporting required

Flexibility in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities required

Ability to clearly present multiple solution options, benefits, and associated costs to all constituents required

Experience and ability to conduct assessments and develop product recommendations required

Experience with microservices, containers, and DevSecOps preferred

Experience with EHR/EMR preferred
