Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper/Porter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial space, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
- Handle and following all safety protocols and handling instructions
- Conduct janitorial duties such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in optimal conditions.
- Use floor buffers and other custodial tools to care for different flooring types, ensuring they remain clean and well-maintained
- Support 35 lbs lifting tasks using proper manual handling techniques to move furniture or equipment safely
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues .
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or porter roles within commercial, or industrial settings
- Experience with industrial cleaning techniques and facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
