Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans for students
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment to facilitate learning and development
- Assess individual student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
Experience:
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in early childhood education or daycare
- Strong knowledge of literacy education, physical education, and curriculum development
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards
- Experience in tutoring or providing individualized instruction is a plus
- Familiarity with early childhood development principles and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification is required (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
