Description:
Vulcan Mechanical Services is hiring a Commercial HVAC Service Technician with 2+ years of commercial experience focused on maintenance and service.
This role is a mix of preventative maintenance and service work (approximately 60/40, seasonally variable). Technicians are expected to independently handle routine service calls and contribute to maintaining low callback rates through accurate diagnostics and quality workmanship.
Work is 100% commercial with no residential and no refrigeration.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on commercial HVAC systems
- Diagnose and repair system issues using standard diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace components including motors, contactors, compressors, and control devices
- Accurately document work using phone-based software
- Communicate findings clearly with customers and internal team
- Deliver high-quality work with minimal callbacks
Qualifications (Required)
- 2–5 years of commercial HVAC experience (PM and/or service)
- EPA Universal Certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to independently handle routine service calls with minimal oversight
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability (not just parts replacement)
- Professional communication skills with customers and team
