Construction Laborers support crews across multiple divisions, including Foundation, Structural, Finishing, Patch, and Flatwork. Team members assist Foremen, Carpenters, Form Setters, and Finishers on a variety of large-scale concrete projects such as high-rises, parking garages, stadiums, warehouses, and schools.
At Suntec Concrete, safety and quality are our top priorities. Our laborers play a key role in every phase of construction, from early foundation work to final finishing.
All field positions are safety-sensitive and require focus, awareness, and strict adherence to safety protocols.
Primary Duties
- Perform general construction labor, including site prep, clean-up, and material handling
- Assist with concrete work: forming, pouring, finishing, patching, and flatwork
- Support crews with setting, stripping, and bracing forms
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely
- Load, unload, and move materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
- Follow all company and OSHA safety standards
Requirements
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
- Reliable attendance and participation in safety meetings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights as needed
- Willingness to learn (experience is a plus, but not required)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment urine drug test
