We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of service and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and pairings.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Assist with cash handling, including processing payments accurately through the POS system.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial but not required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $5.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
