American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active NC or compact RN license and 1-2 years of MST experience.

work in a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital

Serves patients of all ages

Uses Cerner EMR
-
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
-
Every other weekend work required, with additional weekends as needed

Active RN license (Standard or Compact) valid in North Carolina

Current certifications: BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

1-2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MST) nursing experience required

Professional demeanor required

Provide nursing care within a Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center accredited facility

Scrubs of any color are acceptable, with no casual attire permitted

Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment

Weekly orientation held on Mondays
