Starting at $13.73 - $14.50/hour
This position adheres to the Earned Sick Time Act and accrues paid time off.

This part-time, seasonal position will be responsible for working at the Rink at Stine Community Park during the ice-skating season. Tentative 2026 – 2027 operating season is December 4, 2026 – February 28, 2027 with mandatory training to begin November 14, 2026.
DUTIES
- Practice excellent customer service and preventative safety.
- Monitor facility, handle trash disposal, and enforce rules to ensure safety.
- Facilitate skate rentals to customers.
- Work in concessions office.
- Assist with pre-season start-up and post-season shut-down of facility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Become certified in CPR/First Aid within 6 months of hire. (City of Troy may cover costs to obtain).
- Ability to work outdoors, often in cold and snowy conditions.
- As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen (including marijuana).
PREFERENCES
- Certified in CPR/First Aid.
EVALUATION PROCESS

HOURS:
Part-time, approximately 15 – 25 hours per week.
Schedule and availability must be attentive to programming and customer service needs. Regular schedule includes three to four (3-4) days per week including morning, afternoon, evening, weekday, and weekend hours.
