Duties
- Assist physical therapists with patient intake, setup, and post-treatment cleanup to ensure efficient therapy sessions.
- Prepare treatment areas by setting up equipment, supplies, and ensuring cleanliness according to hospital and clinic standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans and address patient questions or concerns.
Experience
- Prior experience working inan outpatient clinic environment is highly preferred, especially within orthopedics, geriatrics, or post-acute care settings.
- Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and rehabilitation principles is essential for success in this role.
- Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; additional certifications related to physiotherapy or medical assisting are a plus.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and healthcare professionals while maintaining strict confidentiality enhances team collaboration.
- Previous experience supporting physiotherapy or rehabilitation teams in a clinical setting will help you excel in this energetic role dedicated to patient recovery.
