Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The Athletics Creative/Streaming Communications temporary position will serve as an assistant to the Communications team for the day-to-day coverage of the athletic programs. This includes, but not limited to:
- Special projects for the Seahawk Club, Sammy’s Award Show, Ticketing Office and Seahawk Club promotion of tickets and donation events and the UNCW Hall of Fame
- Video Board Content – Trask coliseum – assisting with the production of pregame, postgame and in game segments, create intros and hype videos and Natatorium intro videos and highlights for Student-Athletes. Volleyball, baseball, and softball tournament coverage if needed
- Stream of events/games – increase production value with campus footage, in-game interviews, post-event interviews and highlight compilations
- Assist with coaches shows by increasing number of shows for Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Baseball, and Softball
- Social media – create cohesion with all 19 athletic programs, templates for multiple uses, work with Ticketing Office and the Seahawk Club on promotion of ticket sales and donor events
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Must be highly dependable, flexible, and available to work evenings and weekends
- Possess excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time both indoors and outdoors
- Work effectively as a team member
- Previous customer service experience preferred
