Overview:
The Cost Accounting Specialist is responsible for full-cycle accounting duties, investment analysis, OPEX budget management, month-end close.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

Assist with month-end close and financial reports

Manage and assist budgets for all departments

Assist managers with yearly/long-term business planning

Monitor intercompany transactions and perform reconciliation as needed

Handle Warranty Allowance

Prepare quarterly inventory valuation

Assist external auditors with quarterly and annual audits by providing requested information

Product Life Cycle profitability management for new models

Prompt, regular, predictable attendance

Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours

Overtime and weekend work as required

All other job duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)
Required Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)

At least 1 year of experience in Finance or Accounting field
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP

Ability to organize and to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to research, evaluate, and resolve problems

Good written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Preferred Education & Experience:

Manufacturing costing experience

SAP experience
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
