Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced TCG Event & Product Manager to lead our Trading Card Game operations and community initiatives. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of TCGs such as Riftbound, One Piece, Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering, with proven experience in both event organization and retail management. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of TCG product management, event planning, and community engagement within the store.
The TCG Product & Event Manager will curate and maintain our product selection, organize and run engaging tournaments and events, and ensure players and collectors have an exceptional in‑store experience. The right candidate is reliable, motivated, and thrives on building community through games — someone who can balance operational excellence with creativity and fun.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Operations:
- Plan, schedule, and execute TCG events such as Pokémon League, Magic: The Gathering tournaments, Lorcana, League of Legends Riftbound, Yu-Gi-Oh, prereleases, and other organized play programs.
- Manage event logistics, including registration, prize support, and reporting.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and organized event environment for players of all skill levels.
- Marketing and building community around different aspects of TCG.
Marketing & Community Building:
- Develop and execute strategies to promote TCG products, events, and store initiatives across social media and other platforms.
- Collaborate with management to create engaging content, including photos, videos, and promotional posts.
- Build relationships with local players, collectors, and influencers to foster a passionate and loyal community.
- Represent the store and brand with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a focus on long‑term customer relationships.
Community Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with local players, collectors, and community members.
- Promote upcoming events, new releases, and special promotions in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Represent the store brand and uphold a positive, enthusiastic presence both in‑person and online.
Product Management:
- Oversee TCG inventory including merchandising of products.
- Track product performance and make data‑driven decisions to optimize sales and inventory flow.
Store Support:
- Assist customers on the sales floor with product recommendations and game‑related inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Support team members in achieving sales and customer service goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of TCG Event Operation (Riftbound, Pokemon & MTG, others a plus)
- Minimum 2+ years of Event Planning
- Minimum 4+ years of playing TCG's
- Must have experience in various TCG softwares such as EventLink, Carde.IO, Bandai+ and more
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Open availability including weekends and evening shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for Trading Card Games such as Pokemon, Magic, Riftbound, etc
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
