- Design, build, and optimize back-end services and REST APIs that support API-driven applications.
- Develop microservices using JVM-based technologies, with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.
- Integrate back-end systems with external platforms and internal data workflows.
- Support data collaboration solutions by working with Google BigQuery, GCP services, and Hadoop-based environments.
- Partner with data engineering, data science, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues in distributed systems and help improve reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Contribute to secure coding practices, technical documentation, and software development lifecycle best practices.
- Strong experience in Java development and Spring Boot.
- Background building and maintaining microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery.
- Understanding of NoSQL data modeling and large-scale data management.
- Experience supporting distributed systems and modern back-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with GenAI tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working in data-intensive or platform engineering environments.
- Exposure to Hadoop ecosystems and cloud-based data integrations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to debugging and optimization.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment with local collaboration.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
