- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely delivery
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient meal service during busy periods
- Demonstrate excellent serving skills, engaging with guests professionally and courteously at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in kitchens
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within the food industry or restaurant settings
- Expertise in menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling techniques including knife skills and portion control
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper hygiene practices
- Experience in fine dining environments or catering services that require attention to detail and presentation excellence
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of service
- Excellent communication skills for serving guests courteously and collaborating effectively with team members
