Per Diem MRI Technologist
Seeking a dependable, patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. We perform non-contrast MRI examinations in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of MRI experience and be comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality non-contrast MRI examinations according to established protocols
- Verify patient information and complete MRI safety screenings
- Position patients correctly and explain procedures clearly
- Monitor patients throughout their examinations
- Maintain accurate patient and examination documentation
- Follow all MRI safety, infection-control, and quality-assurance procedures
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, referring offices, and team members
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care
Requirements
- At least one year of hands-on MRI technologist experience
- Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety and patient screening
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
- Availability to provide per diem coverage as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
