Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full Time Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and possess a strong understanding of dental practices. This role is crucial in ensuring the oral health and comfort of our patients while adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in the documentation review to maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct assessments of patients' oral health, including reviewing medical history and identifying potential issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dental office, ensuring all tools and equipment are sterilized and ready for use.
- Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in dental hygiene practices.
Requirements
- Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of systems related to dental office operations.
- Experience or familiarity with pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
- Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy related to dental health.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Commitment to ongoing education and training in the field of dental hygiene.
