Position Overview
The Mobile IV Nurse provides IV hydration, vitamin drips, IM injections, and wellness support in patient homes, offices, hotels, and events. This role requires strong IV skills, excellent communication, and the ability to deliver a concierge‑level experience while following MedPlenish protocols and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- IV Administration — Start peripheral IVs confidently; administer hydration, vitamins, and IM injections.
- Patient Assessment — Perform vitals, intake, contraindication screening, and escalate concerns to supervising provider.
- Mobile Visit Setup — Create a safe, clean treatment environment in homes, offices, hotels, and events.
- Clinical Documentation — Chart accurately in EMR, documenting vitals, treatment details, and patient responses.
- Patient Education — Provide clear aftercare instructions and wellness guidance.
- Safety & Compliance — Follow MedPlenish protocols, OSHA standards, infection control, and emergency procedures.
- Inventory Management — Maintain supplies, equipment cleanliness, and report low stock.
- Concierge Experience — Deliver a warm, professional, wellness‑aligned patient experience.
Qualifications
- Active RN in good standing.
- Strong IV insertion skills required.
- BLS Certification (ACLS preferred).
- Experience in ER, ICU, Infusion, or Home Health preferred.
- Ability to work independently in mobile environments.
- Professional communication and patient‑care skills.
- Comfortable using EMR systems.
