Job Title: Java Lead
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Lead with over 15 years of expertise in software development and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions and will be responsible for guiding a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications. This role can be based in either San Francisco, CA, or New Jersey, and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust Java applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications, providing timely solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall technical direction of the projects.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Proven experience in leading software development teams and managing projects.
- Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as Angular or React is a plus.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
