- Full service 100 seat Restaurant looking for an Energetic, Experienced, Forward Thinking Chef who is passionate about culinary arts*.
The ideal chef for this position will be a natural leader who follows or creates current culinary trends. New Restaurant opening Chefs preferred.
Bachelor degree/Associate in culinary arts required. Excellent communication and organizational skills a must. Zero waste dedicated to food quality and control. Environmental friendliness with food products and paper products.
Develops menus: Hires and trains kitchen staff; Provides input in marketing decisions: aids in leadership and direction of restaurant: Food prep and production to recipe: Food ordering, updating, usage, quality food appearances: Kitchen employee scheduling, budget and forecasting: Daily, mid-month and month end inventories: daily kitchen labor budget: complete daily cost control and forecasting; Reports to weekly Management meetings: Kitchen storage, refuse, sanitation and maintenance of equipment; Uniforms and appearance of staff; Plan daily specials: orientation and training of new kitchen staff; Perform in cooks position as required by business volume and serves in expediter position as required by volume.
Charcuterie experience is a must.
