American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with 2+ years of CVOR experience for a hospital Surgical Services position working 4x10 shifts in Winchester, VA.
-
Hospital Surgical Services unit with 2 CVOR beds and a 1:1 patient ratio
-
Adult cardiovascular patient population including CVOR, vascular, and thoracic cases
-
Specialized equipment includes ECMO, MAZE, and IABP
-
EMR: Epic (experience preferred)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM (4x10s)

Float requirement to vascular and thoracic cases, and to the main OR if no vascular cases are scheduled

On-call requirement of 6–13 shifts per 4-week period, which may include weekends and holidays

Minimum of 2 years of CVOR CST experience required; 5+ years preferred

NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required

VA state license required if applicable; candidates may begin with a temporary license while the permanent VA license is pending

BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start

Proficiency with Microsoft Word required; proficiency with Excel, Epic, Workday, and ShiftWizard preferred

US SSN required for consideration

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible
