About the Role We're hiring an Office Assistant to keep our office running smoothly and support the team behind our caregivers and clients. This is a great fit if you're organized, reliable, good with people on the phone, and looking to build real-world skills in office administration, HR, and healthcare operations. We're happy to train the right person — what matters most is your work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and route requests professionally
- Support our scheduling team: confirm shifts with caregivers, help fill openings, send reminders, and keep our scheduling system current
- Maintain caregiver and client files, including tracking certifications and expirations
- Assist with new caregiver onboarding, background checks, and HR paperwork
- Enter billing and payroll data accurately
- Help keep records aligned with Washington State home care compliance requirements (full training provided)
- Support the administrator and leadership team with daily tasks
What We're Looking For
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable on the phone, especially with older adults and families
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Willingness to learn new software
- Discretion with confidential information
- High school diploma or GED
- Active Washington driver's license and auto insurance
- Must pass a background check
Helpful but Not Required
- Previous office, retail, or customer service experience
- Coursework or interest in healthcare, business, HR, or social work
- Experience working with seniors
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- In-person at our Lacey office
- One week per rotation of after-hours on-call coverage (paid; primarily phone-based, most weeks are quiet)
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
