Experienced Team Leader Wire Harness and Cable Assembly
MUST HAVE WIRE HARNESS BUILDING EXPERIENCE

Pat Rate: $22-25+/hr based on experience
Hours: 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri, occasional OT
Direct Hire, Full-Time Position
Company is an electronic manufacturing service provider of cables, harnesses and printed circuit boards.
Summary:
A Team Leader position requires product knowledge as well as managing other members of a team. We are looking for a high-efficient team player with a positive attitude who communicates company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to team members.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage Wire Processing Center – cutting/stripping/terminating
2. Set up Machine Dies/Applicators for wire processing
3. Ensure that all products built are of the highest quality.
4. Oversee day-to-day operations, delegate task and set deadlines.
5. Manage production schedules given and advise any obstacles to meeting these goals.
6. Instruct employees on proper techniques and workmanship standards.
7. Oversee job setup and First Article Inspection (FAI).
8. Ensure that time standards for each operation are being met.
9. Recommend new ways to improve quality and efficiency.
10. Monitor performance and report metrics.
11. Oversee area cleanliness and maintain all tooling required.
Knowledge/ Education
1. Associate degree in Electronics or related industry experience
2. General Computer Knowledge required
3. Machine Operation and experience in product Assembly
Skills/Experience
1. Minimum 2 years’ experience managing 2+ personnel
2. The ability to read, understand and assemble prints and drawings.
3. Quality and Bill of Material documentation knowledge
4. Trained and proficient on tooling/tools setup, maintenance and calibration.
5. Preferred knowledge in the following standards
1. Soldering Standards IPC-610
2. Termination and Crimping experience, Standard IPC-620
3. Operation of Wire Processing Machines
6. Strong organizational skills to give the team direction.
