We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience through attentive service and knowledge of our menu offerings.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately while maintaining cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communicate any special dietary needs or requests from guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests and ensuring all utensils are properly sanitized.
Experience
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Familiarity with culinary terms and menu items to enhance guest interactions.
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
