Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing custom and standard cabinetry in residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets high standards of quality, precision, and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your craftsmanship and technical skills to transform spaces with beautifully installed cabinets. A candidate with other installation skills (various types of flooring installation) and carpentry (remodel) experience is a plus.
Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install cabinets according to specifications.
- Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of cabinetry.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely to cut, assemble, and install cabinets and related fixtures.
- Install a variety of building materials including trim carpentry, molding, drywall, tile masonry, and plastering as needed for seamless cabinet integration.
- Handle fixture installation such as handles, hinges, locks, and other hardware to ensure functionality and aesthetic appeal.
- Collaborate with project managers, construction inspectors, and other trades such as plumbing and electrical teams to coordinate work efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling all construction and installation materials.
- Experience with flooring installation is also a plus.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cabinet installation along with a strong background in carpentry, framing, roofing, or related construction fields.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., tape measures), power tools (e.g., drills), and heavy equipment relevant to construction site work.
- Knowledge of construction management practices including estimating costs and managing timelines.
- Experience with tile laying, masonry, concrete forming/finishing, welding or restoration is a plus.
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for precise installation of cabinets and fixtures.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and inspection procedures on construction sites.
- Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent training relevant to cabinet installer position

- Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel and carry products in order to perform and cover all workfloor duties
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
