Childcare Assistant – In-Home Daycare
Location: [1145 Evergreen Ave Bronx, NY 10472]
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $450 per week
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, nurturing, and energetic Childcare Assistant to join our team! Our in-home daycare serves a wonderful group of up to 16 children, ranging in age from 5 months to 12 years. You will work closely with another experienced assistant to provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment where our "little ones" can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Care: Assist with meal preparation, serving snacks, and diapering/toileting.
- Engagement: Lead play-based activities and engage with children of all ages to support their development.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate attendance records and write brief daily reports for parents.
- Safety & Routine: Help manage nap schedules and maintain a clean, secure environment for all children.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with your co-assistant to ensure the day runs smoothly.

- Experience: Previous experience working in a childcare setting (daycare, preschool, or similar).

- Confidence: Ability to feel comfortable and stay organized in a fast-paced environment with multiple age groups.
