CNC Machinist Duties: ( 1st Shift 6:00am-4:30pm,2nd Shift 3:00pm-1:30am Mon-Thurs)
- Set up and operate CNC milling/lathe machines to fabricate parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
- Use precision measuring instruments to inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain production efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
CNC Machinist Qualifications:
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Experience with operating CNC milling/lathe machines or similar equipment
- Knowledge of programming and operating logic controllers
- Familiarity with CAD software for reading and interpreting blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and making adjustments to machines
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
- Must have good attendance record.
- Must have the ability to work well with the staff and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 Lbs.
Permanent, full-time position. 1st shift (4-10 hour days)
