June 8 through July 16, 2026, Monday through Thursday, Friday, June 26, 2026, 4:30-8:30pm, Pre season meeting Wednesday, May 27, 2026, 5-7pm
Responsible for opening and closing the facility during Swim Lesson periods. ·
Supervising instructors during class periods along with surveying the overall pool area during class periods.
Be on deck and visible to staff and spectators, enforcing safety rules and procedures.
Assist instructors as deemed necessary. ·
Provide corrective and positive feedback to instructors. ·
Be available to answer questions from parents regarding the program.
Be familiar with the registration process.
Assist with communications for this process during the summer. ·
Complete evaluation forms on each instructor at the end of summer session. ·
Ensure records are completed neatly and accurately.
Other duties deemed necessary by the Program Supervisor.
Other Responsibilities:
The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or illegal substance in the workplace in compliance with Policy 4122.01 - Drug-free Workplace throughout his/her employment in the district.
Required Qualifications:
1. Current Wisconsin DPI certification in areas taught.
2. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Current or ability to obtain American Red Cross Lifeguard Training certificate Current or former American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor preferred.
2. Must have a strong background in swimming.
