Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Director to lead our organization’s HR functions and foster a thriving, compliant, and engaged workforce. Responsibilities
- Provide company-wide HR leadership for healthcare facilities.
- Support the facilities by consulting on issues including but not limited to compensation, benefits, staffing, talent acquisition, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management
- Process payroll.
- Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives, including talent management, succession planning, and workforce development.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by assisting facilities and overseeing sourcing strategies, interviewing processes, and onboarding programs to attract top talent.
- Manage employee relations by implementing effective communication channels, resolving conflicts, and conducting misconduct investigations to maintain a positive workplace environment.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity), and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee HR systems including HRIS (Human Resources Information System), Kronos and Paycomfor data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Supervise HR teams in areas such as benefits administration, payroll processing via systems like Kronos or Paycom, training & development programs, and performance management initiatives.
- Work with facility leaders to identify, develop, and retain high-potential associates and take professional appropriate action with low performers.
- Monitor HR and labor metrics such as overtime and turnover.
- Drive process improvements through strategic planning and change management to enhance efficiency in HR operations while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in Human Resources required.
- 5+ years experience in organizational development, performance management or HR management required.
- 5+ years experience payroll processing experience required.
- 5+ years hands-on experience and proficiency with HR analytics tools and data analysis skills to inform strategic decisions; experience with HRIS platforms such as Paycom is required.
- Computer literacy and working knowledge of common office machines required.
- Critical thinker with business acumen.
- Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, conflict resolution
- Proven experience supervising human resources teams with strong leadership skills in managing complex HR functions across diverse organizations.
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law compliance including FMLA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, OSHA standards, and HR legal compliance practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition strategies such as sourcing through ATS like Paycom; interviewing; onboarding; and employee evaluation processes.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to foster employee relations and manage conflict resolution effectively.
- Ability to develop organizational design initiatives that support business growth; experience with process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with benefits administration including health plans, retirement plans, and compliance with employment law in talent management practices.
- Previous in long-term care or healthcare environment preferred.
